I am married to my wonderful husband, Micha. I really don't know how I could live without him. He is incredibly supportive and I just love him so much!
I have been interested in art and decorating since I was a young girl. From painting projects, rearranging rooms, decorating my bedroom, playing interior design games online (haha-yes), obsessively watching hgtv, and even helping my mom remodel her kitchen. It's always been apart of me, but it wasn't until recently I finally realized that it's truly my PASSION.
Why not do what you love right? I am so glad I acknowledged that and I am very excited to do what I love.
By far, I think the best project yet for me has been decorating my own home and figuring out MY style which is rustic, warm and cozy colors, and shabby/chic.
When my husband and I were married we had a few pieces of furniture and I mean FEW. We desperately needed some bedroom furniture. We had a nightstand and a bed frame-that's it! So I got creative and went thrifting. I bought a headboard and an antique dresser and painted them an almond-white color. To my surprise, they turned out to be very beautiful! I then became interested in refinishing old furniture because you truly can have a beautiful, timeless piece of furniture.
